Australian Rules Football is wayy better than American football! We went to a game and it's such a cool sport. It's like a football-rugby-soccer combination. It was so fun to watch! We had really good seats too! There was this sign warning us about balls coming at us during warm-ups. Footy players are ripped and run more than any other athlete in any other sport- supposedly about 7 miles a game. Crazy.
The crowd was pretty big, considering Freo usually loses...but they won on this day! Everyone was so into the game, it was great!
The players can jump so high, as shown in my photo where I missed his head :-/
...but doesn't it kind of look like that arm is grabbing him and pulling him into the photo? Cool right?
It's a small picture, but if you can see it looks like one of our Dockers is about to pounce
on Adelaide. He didn't actually, but it's a sweet action shot!
Oh and that is just some cool graffiti that I saw getting on the train when we were leaving the game.
Dockers won! Yayyy!!
