Life is good.

So not a lot has been happening as far as exploring new areas and seeing more Australian tourist spots or anything. We did go out to this restaurant in Perth City. It was an Indian Restaurant right on the coast of the inlet and it was "pay what you feel" like a donation type of thing. My seat actually overlooked the water and the skyline on the other side of the inlet so it was really beautiful.

All sounds good until I realize that I don't like Indian food because it's so spicy and their "pay what you feel" is really a "pay what you feel with a minimum of $15." It was still a good experience and a nice dinner, but I'm not about to go there again.
This is the ferris wheel on the edge of the inlet too- the one you can see from the view from King's Park. It's pretty tiny and lame, and apparently it is pretty expensive to go for a ride on it. Our Australian friend told us that they were deciding between building that tiny ferris wheel this year, or waiting five years and building one the size of the Eagle Eye or whatever it's called in England. Bad decision, Perth. But it was still really pretty and I did some computer imaging to make it look all red and cool in this picture.

Jess and I went shopping because I packed almost no clothes here and I was running on only two pairs of jeans. We stopped in this Kitchenware type store and were getting all exited about the cute stuff they had there! I bought a little measuring cup that is like a little guy with feet- so cute.

On the walk to class there is this Aussie version of a courtyard where you pretty much are walking through the bush for like ten minutes and there are lots of cool trees and flowers and stuff. Just thought I'd take some pictures of it so here they are:
