The CIEE group about to head in...
This is our CIEE director, Paul, and his son Ned, the cutest kid ever! Paul is really great and helps us with all of our problems that come up for any area of our lives-he's great!
Kangaroos lounging in shady areas midday on this hot one.
Doesn't this one look like a rabbit?
This was was huge and had such an expressive face like a person.
Feeding the kangaroos!
These two looked like they were about to kiss, but only because they were both trying to steal the food from the other.
Peacock!
I'd never seen a peacock in real life before this day!
This dynamic between the llama and goat was so funny. The goat was sitting in the back corner sulking while the llama was a little show-girl and kept parading past us as if posing for our pictures. That poor goat, haha!
Fattest, happiest pig ever.
This lizard was crawling up the glass as if he was trying to get out and play with us...or attack us?
Wombat!
It looks like wombats are just huge masses of fat, but that's actually all muscle and they are really fast runners.
This one was falling asleep and was asleep when I was petting it. It looks kind of like a manatee in its face.
Buckteeth!
Beautiful wildflowers in the park.
Red Banksia.
Lizard trying to jump up this ledge.
Action shot of him actually jumping onto the ledge!
Before...
After...
I bonded with Ned, Paul's son. He was getting upset that he couldn't find the turtle in the tank so I pretended that I couldn't find the animals in all the cages after that and it made him feel important that he had to point out where all the animals were and what they were. So cute!

Dingoes...seem like cuddly domestic house pets but are actually vicious.
Koalas
Tasmanian Devils...
...not as exciting as the cartoon would have you believe.
Next we drove a ways to this marina where the Acua Aquarium is!
It was really cool because for the tunnel tank thing there was like a conveyer belt that you stood on and it would take you around the entire tank. It was pretty cool!
These bubbles looked so cool in the tank! There were scuba divers in the tank with the sharks and everything, though we couldn't figure out what they were doing there.
Jellyfish...
This fish has a baby face! So cute!
This stingray had blue spots on its back-pretty sweet!
Shoot! I don't remember if this was a crocodile or alligator. Let's say crocodile.
The lady who worked there told me that when it gets to midday and the sun is really strong they lay out and the scales on their skin absorb the sun and use it for solar energy. I had no idea animals could do something like that. Pretty awesome.
Weird sea plant things...
Awesome anemone that looks like flowers. Its name was like lilac something or other too.
Damselfish? Kind of ironic I think...
DANGER ZONE!
Deadly Australian predators...
a puffer-fish I think?
Windy day...
